If you want to read at home, you'll choose the long mouthpiece to get the smoke away from your face. If you're going to be on the move, you'll opt for the short mouthpiece, which is much more practical to take with you. In either case, you can of course fit the famous Vauen filter to make smoking even smoother and more enjoyable.

Note that Vauen offers you an army mount here, as the end of the stem is fitted with a fine silver-coloured aluminium ring.
