In Saint-Claude, the world capital of pipe making, the Ewa brand was founded in 1974 by Michel Waille. For over fifty years, this house has upheld the traditional skills of Jura pipe artisans, producing elegant, well-finished pipes that are a pleasure to smoke. The name Ewa comes from "Établissement Waille".

A brand that made history in pipe making:

Ewa has long stood out for combining tradition with modernity. Classic shapes are paired with contemporary colors, as seen in models like the Lilou or Samba. With attractive pricing, the brand's excellent value for money has always been one of its strongest points.

Acquisition by Berrod-Regad:

In 2004, Mr. Denis Blanc, manager of the Butz-Choquin pipe factory, acquired the brand and continued Ewa pipe production under the Berrod-Regad group. Today, production is certainly more limited than in the past, but the same quality and artisanal spirit of the classic Ewa pipes are still present.

Ewa, formerly a specialist in pipe stems:

Historically, Ewa specialized in making stems (horn, acrylic, cumberland) and was the only French manufacturer of pipe stems. At its peak, the company employed around twenty people and exported 25% of its production, highlighting Saint-Claude's worldwide influence.
