Falcon pipes: a unique system created in 1936
Invented by American engineer Kenly Bugg, Falcon pipes have been around for nearly a century. Today, they are manufactured in England and continue to win over pipe smokers all around the world.
The distinctive feature of Falcon pipes is immediately noticeable. The pipe is made of an aluminium stem onto which a briar bowl is screwed. This unique design is what truly sets Falcon pipes apart from traditional pipes!
A pipe that can evolve according to your preferences:
One of the major advantages of the Falcon pipe is its modular design. If you want to change the shape of your pipe, there is no need to buy a new one. Simply unscrew the bowl and replace it with another.
Apple, Bulldog, Dublin, Dover, Algiers, Genoa, Plymouth… there are many different Falcon bowl shapes available. If you own several bowls for your Falcon pipe, you can even dedicate each one to a specific type of tobacco. This helps prevent tobacco crossover and allows you to fully enjoy the individual flavours of each blend.
The Falcon pipe is also an economical choice. Instead of owning several pipes in different shapes, you can simply purchase additional bowls while keeping the same stem.
Why an aluminium stem?
At first glance, the aluminium stem may seem unusual. However, it is precisely what makes Falcon pipes so unique. Thanks to this design, the smoke reaches the mouth cooler and drier. The smoking experience is therefore particularly enjoyable. This is undoubtedly one of the main reasons why Falcon pipes are so popular among smokers.
Which Falcon pipe should you choose?
The first thing to consider is the shape of the stem. Straight or bent, it determines the overall appearance of the pipe.
Next, your choice will depend on the bowl. Its shape and capacity will slightly influence the smoking experience. And that is exactly what makes Falcon pipes so interesting: nothing is permanent. You can always purchase additional bowls later and change the look of your pipe whenever you wish.
