The final result is very attractive. To create such a result, the softest parts of the briar were removed. After the sandblasting, all the pipes of the Mamba collection were dyed black and polished once again by hand with a lighter color.

Vauen's history goes back to a long time ago. In 1945, during World War II, the main building of the company was completey destroyed, and the company almost had to shut down. A few years later (in 1958, for the 110th anniversary of the brand), the building was completely rebuilt so that production could start again and pipes could be exported in the whole world. At this time, pipes were in everyone's pockets or mouth. Even if there are less pipe smokers nowadays, pipe smoking remains a noble and elegant way to enjoy tobacco. We could even say that it is back in fashion!
