That's right, each pipe is made from oak (a finely textured wood to which a white wax is applied to bring out the details of the grain while providing an elegant, refined finish) and meerschaum (the inner part where you'll be stuffing the tobacco). Like all Vauen pipes, these are fitted with a black acrylic stem and a 9mm Vauen Dr Perl Junior filter.
First released from the workshop in 2017, the Vauen Lime pipes were an instant hit with smokers. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of raw materials, production had to be halted. This year, in 2024, Vauen is relaunching the Lime series with an all-new insert made from magnesium silicate (a composition similar to meerschaum, but with greater absorption efficiency). As before, this internal part (positioned in the bowl) makes the pipe much more resistant to heat and perfectly absorbs residual moisture. So the smoking experience is like no other! What's more, this white coating on the inside of the bowl not only improves the smoking properties but also complements the pipe's sublime monochrome look.
