Some of Stanwell pipes had been designed decades ago by the famous pipe maker Jess Chonowitsch. Stanwell therefore uses the same silhouettes than those of the pipes that were produced, and added a sterling silver band as well as a 9mm filter to them.
The Stanwell Revival range: timeless models brought back to life:
Stanwell Revival pipes are all made with briar but, depending on the models, they can have a smooth, sandblasted or rusticated finish. On www.pipe.fr, we chose to put forward those with a smooth finish because they are those with the more visible wood grain. No matter which Stanwell Revival pipe you like the most, you have to know that all of them are great to smoke. Each model is carefully made, from the top of the bowl to the end of the stem!
Stanwell, a cornerstone in the history of Danish pipes:
Stanwell is a famous brand in the world of pipe smoking. The firm is indeed very important in the History of Danish pipes. Famous pipe makers, such as Poul Winslow or Tom Eltang, have worked in the workshop of the company in Denmark. Since 2010 to 2021, all the Stanwell pipes were carefully made in Italy in the workshop of the company Barontini.
