The special Peterson edition for smoking a pipe on Saint Patrick’s Day:
St. Patrick's Day is celebrated each year on March 17th. This day commemorates the anniversary of the death of patron saint of Ireland. Nowadays, St. Patrick's Day is famous around the world. On this day, it is customary to wear at least one green garment (the shamrock being Ireland's symbol), and to drink an Irish drink, such as beer for example.
Obviously, the Peterson company (located in Dublin) proposes each year a special pipe on the occasion of St. Patrick's Day. It is actually one of the oldest pipe series proposed by the brand, since it was launched in 1998.
The Peterson Saint Patrick's Collection: a cult series since 1998
The design of the pipes of this collection has changed over the years since it started. In 2022 for example, craftspeople equipped the pipes with a green acrylic stem and a nickel band stamped "K & P" (which stands for "Kapp & Peterson"). A few years earlier, in 2018, the briar was stained green and the pipe was equipped with a beautiful yellow acrylic stem.
