It is advised to store your tobacco in an environment with a humidity level of about 70%. Of course, it is also a matter of taste and you can keep your tobacco at another humidity level depending on the tobacco you smoke and what you prefer.

You just have to put the hygrometer in your tobacco jar on top of the tobacco. Then, you will just have to look at the needle to know the humidity level in your tobacco jar.
If your tobacco is too dry, you can therefore use a humidifier. On the contrary, if your tobacco is too humid, we recommend to let it dry in the open air for at least 30 minutes before packing your pipe.
