Why should you use these filters in the bowl of your pipe?
Denicool filters are here presented under the shape of small rock crystals (silica). They were created in order to absorb the excess of humidity in the pipe, and to retain a maximum of impurities (tar, nicotine). Therefore, the smoke will arrive smoother, drier and cooler in mouth, without having the aromas of your tobacco being modified.
On another hand, these filters are really useful because they avoid wasting tobacco, particularly when smoking pipes with a profound bowl that you do not necessarily smoke until the end.
How should you use these Denicool rock crystals?
These Denicool filters perfectly fit every kind of pipe, no matter the size of the bowl. It is therefore the ideal solution if it is not possible to put a classical filter in the stem of your pipe.
To use these rock crystals filters, it is very easy:
- Put a few crystals at the bottom of the bowl (a thin layer is enough)
- Then fill the bowl of your pipe with your tobacco as you would usually do it
- Once you are finished smoking, simply empty the bowl
As with every other filter, you have to think about regularly changing the crystals in order for them to be efficient. If you ever see that the crystals begin to be of a dark brown color, this means that it is time to replace them with new ones for your next tasting.
