Why should you choose this Nikotex filter?
These filters are made to retain a maximum of impurities when smoking. They are adapted to cigarette smokers (especially for Butz-Choquin and Dunhill cigarette holders) and for pipe smokers (whom use Savinelli Minuto pipes).
Be careful, these Nikotex filters have a 6 millimetres diametre, and will therefore only fit in pipes that are made for a 6mm filter. For more practicality and depending on your pipe, you can cut in half your Nikotex filter.

Nikotex filters are really efficient thanks to the fact that they have active charcoal as well as absorbant paper. This type of filter considerably reduces tar and nicotine, and brings a drier smoke to the mouth without ever changing the aromas of the tobacco.
How should you use this Nikotex filter?
For maximum efficiency, the Nikotex filter must be regularly changed. Savinelli (the Italian brand) actually advises to replace it everytime you smoke.
Obviously, before putting a new filter, we advise you to use a pipe cleaner to completely remove any residue that may be inside your pipe (or cigarette holder), in order to enjoy your tobacco.
